Pastoral Letter: 4th October 2020

Dear Friend from Bridport United Church, Uploders Methodist Church or Hope and Radipole United Reformed Churches,

Just when we thought things were getting a little lighter, we are sitting in even more uncertain times with tightening of restrictions in the offing.  Nevertheless our live church services continue and all our online and written services are on offer.  I shall be leading a Communion Service at Bridport United Church on Sunday at 10:30 and we will be offering a live-screening of this week’s Soul Space Video in the United Church at 4pm, with some of the Team present to welcome you.

In the meantime, here are your options this week:

1)  We have found the resources to be able to guarantee a Circuit Video Service for at least the next few weeks, with this one produced by our Dorchester-based Minister, the Rev'd John Yarrien

DSW Methodist Circuit Service

2) The Audio Service from the URC Daily Devotions Team Sunday's service will be led by the Rev'd Ruth Dillon, who is a good friend of mine and is based Fleet.  The team have been very organised this month so I have attached the Service Booklet and the link to the internet is here:

3) And, continuing our series on people who fell, knelt or lay at the feet of Jesus, the Soul Space Video Service this week focuses on the Woman with the Alabaster Jar.

SoulSpace: and an alabaster jar

Blessings from your Minister,

Peter Clarke
